Regina Golovina is a versatile cellist originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan and a devoted adherent of the traditional Russian Music School. She began her musical education at the Special Music School for Gifted Children named after V. Uspensky, where she studied both cello and piano. In 1999, she entered the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and graduated with honors, actively participating in competitions, concerts, and recitals.

Her solo performances include appearances with the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, the chamber orchestras Turkistan and Singing Strings, and the contemporary music ensemble Omnibus. She was also involved in various teaching programs during this time.

In 2007, Regina was accepted into Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance with a full scholarship, studying under the renowned cellist Jeffrey Solow, a disciple of the legendary Gregor Piatigorsky. While at Temple University, she performed with TUSO at the Kimmel Center and Carnegie Hall and participated in master classes with world-famous cellists János Starker and Lynn Harrell. She also premiered a trio by composer Andre Singer at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

Regina is an active performer as well as an experienced cello and piano instructor with more than 15 years of teaching students of all ages. She also offers WunderKeys, a unique piano program designed specifically for preschoolers. Her positive, encouraging teaching style makes lessons fun, engaging, and productive. She believes strongly in individualized instruction and consistent student support.

After relocating to Southern California, Regina became a regular member of several symphony orchestra cello sections, contemporary ensembles, and other musical groups. She is also the founder and owner of OurStrings4You, a professional string quartet that performs at weddings, corporate events, private parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, and more. With its wide and diverse repertoire, OurStrings4You brings beauty, elegance, and a special musical touch to any occasion.
